You know like when you get dumped for a girl from St. Louis then suddenly you start getting bombarded by things from St. Louis evvverywhere.. the truck next to you in traffic is from St. Louis, the radio reminds you the Cardinals are coming to play, every movie trailer in set in a St. Louis suburb, your friends start talking about how much they’d love to see that damn arch and your plane makes an unexpected detour at the St. Louis airport.. and you can’t help but think, WHEN DID EVERYONE START PLEDGING THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO THIS GODDAMMN TOWN?? Haha, those were the days..
So it’s like that right now except much milder.. like I can’t consume any form of media without some kind of sitcom plot/social study/song lyrics/dramatic reference/public service announcement regarding the perils of “age difference/unforseen marital situation” wuuut?
